Songblazers , a new show paying homage to country music, has just opened in Nashville, in early July 2024. The full album has been launched on multiple streaming platforms, so everybody can join in on the fun.

How We Recorded Pure Magic
A Cirque du Soleil show is never complete without its bespoke soundtrack. Music has always been at the center of the creative process, and for Songblazers, it was part of the vision from the get-go. It plays a vital role during performances, both for the artists on stage and the audience watching the show.
The Songblazers album has managed to capture the true essence of the city it was made in: Nashville, TN. The recording sessions, at Sound Emporium Studios, were led by acclaimed producer Daniel Tashian, a country music veteran. He masterfully brought together renowned guest artists Sam Bush, Tommy Emmanuel, Dan Tyminski, Rob Ickes, and Molly Tuttle to work alongside the musicians and vocalists from the cast. This deep dive into country music spans multiple decades and styles, highlighting fan-favorites songs ranging from classics like I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry to catchy hits such as Achy Breaky Heart.
To top it all off, an original track titled CARNIVAL HEART, written and performed by Sam Williams – grandson of country pioneer Hank Williams and the son of outlaw legend Hank Jr – is featured on the album and in the show.
