Damian Gaume, AKA Marble Mannequin, is an Argentinian-Australian CGI artist, photographer and filmmaker with a background in music. Back in 2009, he met his Australian wife in Buenos Aires, his home town. In 2013 they got married in Melbourne, and have been living permanently in Australia since then. They have a 5-year-old son, Jack.
Damian’s art is based on his own fever dreams, creating fantastical environments that defy the laws of physics, blending surrealism, photorealism and sci-fi.
With a passion for photography and cinematography, he started his 3D career during the pandemic of 2020. It was a way to express his cinematic ideas while COVID restrictions made filmmaking impossible. With several ultra viral creations, and a following of 5.6 millions on TikTok alone, Marble Mannequin has collaborated with international brands such as BMW, Zara, Universal Music, Dior and Lenovo. Damian is a recognized artist in the world of NFTs, and has sold many pieces in marketplaces such as SuperRare and Makers Place.
He is also a musician – composer, producer and engineer all at once. He has collaborated with a long list of musicians, including Chris Chaney (Jane’s Addiction, Slash, Alanis Morissette), John Favaro (Mark Seymour & The Undertow), Jeff Consi (Nuno Bettencourt), Marciano Cantero (Los Enanitos Verdes), Gabriel Iglesias (La Renga), Gillespi (Sumo, Soda Stereo), Juanchi Baleirón (Los Pericos), and Adrián Barilari.
