Picnic Cafe is serious about good coffee. The baristas here serve single-origin coffee, which means the beans are grown in a single geographic region. This allows you to taste the pure, distinctive flavor of a special part of the world.
The food at Picnic Cafe is just as good as the coffee. The menu features modern Australian cuisine, with flavors and recipes borrowed from different cultures. With an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients, the food here doesn't just taste great. It also has a carbon footprint that's as low as possible.

Kith' n' Chow
Dine outdoors at Kith 'n' Chow, an alfresco garden restaurant in Mount Gravatt. The venue doesn't want to compete with the fantastic espresso bar next door, so you can't get hot drinks here. You're also welcome to grab a coffee from next door and bring it into the Kith' n' Chow garden. The food is scrumptious, and we think the gorgeous setting is unbeatable. The Nutella donut waffles are to die for! Looking for a healthier option? Check out the açai bowls or house-made granola.

The menu is the same throughout the day, so you can enjoy a croissant, waffle, taco, or falafel whenever you arrive. This café opens at 7 a.m. every day except Sunday, when it opens at 7:30 a.m. Swing by for a smoothie, coffee, or loose-leaf tea.
